Borning in Arlington, Ga.  Grew up in Mauldin, SC.   Graduated from Tuskegee University , Tuskegee Alabama.  Introduced to the outdoors by my father, Doug Brister Sr.  Hunted and fished with father, both grandfathers, uncles, and even my great granddad.  Hunted and fished while growing up and really got my deer hunting bug amped up during my last year in high school hunting with the Denmark Cottageville Hunt Club in Denmark, SC and in college hunting with great friends in Tuskegee.  Currently hunt in SC, NC, AL, and sometimes GA.  My favorite persuit is bowhunting whitetail (trad archery).  I also fish with the Carolina Anglers Bass Club out of Greenwood, SC.  Found a love for beagles and rabbit hunt long ago.  Love hounds!  My mothers grandfather was a coon hunter and  one of my biggest influence on getting into hunting.  Want to learn more about raising and training beagles so I can rabbit hunt with my son, Doug III.
